I’m sure we agree that the behavior on the left is unhealthy—that on the right is healthy. Certainly our branch tries to demonstrate healthy behavior. If we have “one bad apple,” we won’t admit it. Can you think of an example of a bad apple—not here but in some other organization? How should that behavior be handled by the branch president? What annoys me the most is to hear “we have always done it this way.” Mentoring is especially important if we are to have a succession of leadership and members to carry on with projects. What do you think of the statement in the lower right corner?
