The Atomic City Sportsmen Club, Inc. presents its elected officers for 2008. Pictured from left to right are Jimmy Robertson (Parliamentarian), Larry Gipson (Project Co-Chair), Chris Hammonds (President), Jim Barnes (Vice President), Jim Ware (Secretary), Martin Perrote (Treasurer), and Al Guidry (Project Co-Chair). The Atomic City Sportsmen Club, Inc. (ACSC) was organized in 1969 as a charitable and educational organization to aid the youth, underprivileged, and charitable organizations in the Oak Ridge area. Through the organized function of its programs and activities, ACSC has become known as a positive role model for youth of all ethnic backgrounds and cultures. ACSC is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization. All proceeds are directed to support its programs, community activities, and the continued operation of its purpose. ACSC events for 2008 include the Annual Scholarship Program, the 7th Annual Golf Tournament, Diversity Celebration Luncheon, Fun in The Sun Event, Annual Children’s Christmas Party, and the recently held Annual Martin Luther King Day Breakfast.
