Membership and Pool Privileges Joining BCC as a Social Member: Any homeowner or family renting a house in the Briarcliff area (see MAP defining Briarcliff area) is welcome to join the BCC. Just complete a membership application and return it to the BCC Membership Chairman (Arpad Vass, 105 Carson Lane, Oak Ridge 37830) along with the annual social membership fee of $25. As a social member, you are welcome to participate in all club activities, including social events at the BCC pool. However, social members do not have swimming privileges. Swimming privileges are limited to BCC pool shareholders or those renting pool privileges from a BCC pool shareholder. Your name and email address will be added to our newsletter distribution list so that your family will get the latest news about BCC activities and events. a BCC Pool Share holder - Buying and selling pool shares: There
currently are 128 "owners" of the BCC facilities. These shareholders
may sell their pool share to anyone who has a BCC social membership (see BCC
Pool Memberships for Sale or Rent). The price of the share
is determined by negotiation between the shareholder and the social member
wanting to buy the pool share. There are also pool shares for sale by
BCC. To complete the pool share sale, the selling
shareholder must complete the transfer information on the back of their
pool share certificate and forward the certificate to

or email).The transaction will be
recorded in the BCC books and a new pool share certificate will be issued. New
BCC members will also need to pay an additional one time fee of $25 to
become a shareholder. If the Shareowner does not pay the total fee by

Summer Pool Rentals: From
time to time, at the discretion of the BCC Board, special summer rentals
may be available to social members.
