Workday for Book Sale
The scheduled workday will be the Tuesday before each sale. Volunteers are always welcome and lunch is provided.
Names of Shut-Ins
The Books on Wheels program has several willing book deliverers. They are in need of book recipients!! If you know of someone who is shut in, in their own home or in an assisted living facility, who likes to read but is unable to travel to the library, please call Jane Bennet at 681-0248. She can explain the program and help assign someone to deliver books and visit with the person.

Library Volunteers Helpers
Must have lots of patience are needed to catch up on a backlog of videotapes, DVDs, audiotapes, and CDs needing repair. Work with Outreach Coordinator Joan Sloan one hour a week changing letters on the outdoor entrance sign. Apply at the circulation desk, or call part-time volunteer coordinator, Judy Dudley, at 982-0981, ext. 183.


  Manage Campbell Soup Label Project
Serve as library liaison to the Campbell Soup Company; count & submit labels.

  MorningView Transitional Care Center Volunteer Readers
Read to patients twice a month for about 1.5 hours per session. Contact Barbara Zurl at wayzur865@aol.com

  Empty Donation Boxes
Help unload drop boxes and shelve books in book sale area. Call Joan Lyndon at 379-6617 (home) or 556-2699 (cell).

  Book Donations for future FOL Book Sales
Donate books by placing in drop boxes at freight entrance (side near the Waterfront Restaurant).

  Refreshments
To assist at special programs and events, call Jean Flickinger at 982-7434.
