Blount
County Friends of the Library
Friends Book Search Service
You know you really want it. You
know you will just not be satisfied until you have successfully
achieved making it yours. You know you want to see
if it is as good as you remember it or as good as everyone
tells you it is. You know you will not rest until
you can lay your hands upon Helen Hoke's Factory Kitty
written in 1949, or Dan Brown's much discussed Da Vinci
Code. Then of course, there is everything from Dostoevsky's
“The Idiot” to Lynn Truss’s “Talk
to the Hand”. Now you COULD spend your time
and money and follow E-Bay or Amazon.com; or for .005
cents a day have the Blount County Friends of the Library
Book Sale Committee search for that book you REALLY NEED
TO HAVE.
Yes. The Friends of the Library
are happy to announce their latest service to Friends
Members. For a charge of $2.00 per title the Book
Sale Committee will search for one year for any title
you are seeking. Just fill out the form with your
name, address, FOL Membership expiration date, telephone
number and of course don’t forget the $2.00 and
we will be delighted to see if we cannot make all your
dreams (at least those literary dreams) come true. Forms
may be dropped off in the Library in the Friends Office
or mailed in to “Book Sale Committee, Blount County
Friends of the Library, 508 N. Cusick Street, Maryville,
Tennessee 37804”.
For a period of one year we will search for any title you are
seeking ($2.00 per search). If found we will contact
you.
If shipping is required you will also be charged appropirately.
