Bearden High School Band Auditions
Auditions for Field Conductors, Color Guard, Drum Line, and Majorettes are held during the school year.
BHS Band - Field Conductors
The following are the expected responsibilities of anyone recommended for this position:
- Class Attendance - delegate to field conductors, but you are responsible for
its completion
- Conducting Rehearsals, Pep-Bands, Games, etc.
- Field setup - rehearsals
- Selection of stand tunes - copying and distributing
- Rehearsal monitors - attitude and morale
- Coordinate sheets/charts
- Positive example through preparation
- Conduct Pep-Bands
- Teaching beginning and remedial marching
- Report concerns to directors
- Coordinate Woodwind/Brass/Percussion/Guard pass-offs
- Medical Kit for rehearsals
