Age Requirement for Scouts
14 years old by January 1, 2009 or completed 8th grade by June 2009

LIMITED NUMBER OF SPACES AVAILABLE
Reservation form with $50 deposit due by October 31, 2007.

Deposit is non-refundable after December 2007 unless a replacement is available.

Total cost estimated at $1,500 to be paid (minus the $50 deposit) by installments between April 2008 and March 2009.

Cost estimate based on airline roundtrip from Knoxville to Colorado Springs and charter bus round trip from Colorado Springs to Philmont Scout Ranch.

Scouts have two years to earn money in troop popcorn sales and other troop fund-raising activities!

The Philmont experience is eleven days of continuous, rugged backpacking in the Rocky Mountains in northern New Mexico. All hikers must be in excellent physical condition and must participate in the troop's required training hikes and preparations.

The deposit and installment payments are non-refundable after date indicated unless a replacement is available.
