No boy is turned away from meetings due to lack of uniform. However, awards are given for attendance in proper uniform. Additionally, proper uniform at meetings and events is a requirement for advancement to the more senior ranks.
Uniforms are available at the Boy Scout Store at 1333 Weisgarber Road, Knoxville. It is recommended that you call (865-588-1940) to see if they have an assortment of sizes in stock. They are open Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00 and Saturday 10:00-3:00. A few used items are available for a reasonable price in our Troop's "uniform closet." Scouts are encouraged to donate out-grown uniforms to the troop for the uniform closet.
