Announcements for April 5, 2009
Next Sunday we will continue our study in Romans/James. Our Scripture reference is Romans 15:14-33.
Cross Of Flowers
Prior to our Resurrection Day worship service on Easter Sunday, we will be decorating a cross with flowers brought from home. We encourage children of God of every age to bring flowers to the church and help us decorate the cross. We hope this will not only provide an opportunity for parents to talk with their children about the significance of Christ's death and resurrection but an opportunity to participate in remembering the hope His resurrection brings to each person as well. As you arrive for worship on Easter Sunday, please place your flowers in the cross.
"Christ In The Passover" In Our Area
A calendar of "Christ in the Passover" presentations in our area given by "Jews for Jesus" is available this morning in the information centers. The meetings take place from March 21 through April 11 and reveal the prophetic picture of the Lord Jesus as celebrated in the traditional Jewish Passover meal.
Are You World Weary? In Need Of A Spirtual Retreat?
All Christ Chapel women are invited to retreat with the Lord this Spring in Gatlinburg the weekend of April 17-19 for renewal and refreshment of soul. The cost is $80 per person.
The much-respected Bible teacher Fran Dotterweich will bring a Word from the Scriptures in two sessions. We will also have 'pajama testimonies', a mini silent retreat, and a special surprise. Are you interested? Contact Robin by phone or through Facebook.
Mid-Week Fellowship
If you are not involved in one of our regular home groups, we invite you to join us this Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. here at Christ Chapel. Come sing, learn, share, and pray with others in the body of Christ!
Leadership At Christ Chapel
We have begun a process of seeking the Lord's guidance as to who He might be raising up to serve our body as an elder. An information sheet about our process entitled "Leadership at Christ Chapel" is available in the Information Centers. Please join us in prayer and consideration as we discern His will together.
