Christ Chapel Hosting Special OCC Event

Nelly Chikwanda is the presiding Bishop and President of New Life Ministries International, overseeing more than 20 churches locally and internationally. She has served as National Leadership Team Coordinator for Operation Christmas Child in Zambia since the project inception eight years ago. In this position, Bishop Nelly leads the team in serving ministry partners and the community at large, in a biblical way, lifting them up through prayer. This year, the Zambia NLT will distribute more than 130,000 shoebox gifts, 48,000 OCC Discipleship Program lessons, and 6,400 New Testaments to needy children throughout the country.

Bishop Nelly is also an international and local conference speaker, the overseer of Winners Gathering conferences in Zambia, and an administrator at Hands of Mercy, a community ministry that supports people living with HIV/AIDS. Please invite your friends and join us at Christ Chapel on Sunday evening, March 15, at 6 p.m. to hear Bishop Nelly share how God is working in Africa.

Men's Retreat Brewing

Heads up, gents! Since we're so good at planning months in advance (lol), rumor has it that plans for a Men's Retreat are in the works. If you'd like to support or assist, Chuck is the point man. Details will be available soon--hopefully before it happens!

The ladies of Christ Chapel would like to express their most sincere and heartfelt thanks to the men of Christ Chapel for the delicious Valentine Brunch which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. The music was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the decorations were beautiful. We do feel appreciated.

Are You World Weary? In Need Of A Spirtual Retreat?

All Christ Chapel women are invited to retreat with the Lord this Spring in Gatlinburg the weekend of April 17-19 for renewal and refreshment of soul. The cost is $80 per person.

The much-respected Bible teacher Fran Dotterweich will bring a Word from the Scriptures in two sessions. We will also have 'pajama testimonies', a mini silent retreat, and a special surprise. Are you interested? Contact Robin by phone or through Facebook.

Mid-Week Fellowship

Beginning on March 4, we will offer a weekly fellowship opportunity for anyone who feels a need for a mid-week connection to others in the body. This fellowship time will be similar to a home fellowship that typically includes singing, scripture study, discussion, and prayer for one another. If you are not involved in one of our regular home groups, we invite you to scratch your mid-week itch and join us on March 4 at 6:45 p.m. here at Christ Chapel.

Leadership At Christ Chapel

We have begun a process of seeking the Lord's guidance as to who He might be raising up to serve our body as an elder. An information sheet about our process entitled "Leadership at Christ Chapel" is available in the Information Centers. Please join us in prayer and consideration as we discern His will together.
