Annual Neighborhood Yard
Sale Set for October 13th & 14th
Please plan to participate in the Annual Neighborhood Yard Sale,
Friday and Saturday, October 13th and 14th, 8 am to 2 pm. If you
plan to participate or have questions contact Steve Whitson, president
at 690-9017 or Patsy Nimri, treasurer at 691-4224.
Membership Renewal for 2005
Please take
a few moments to send in your 2006 Neighborhood Association fees of $10 by
the end of October. Please make checks payable to Hidden
Valley/Crestwood Forest Association and mail it to Patsy Nimri. If
you have questions please call Patsi at 661-4224.
Speed Trap
Report
The Knox County Sheriff's office recently conducted a radar speed
trap on two different days. There were dozens of citations written
and officers were stunned at the percentage of drivers totally ignoring
the law. Most drivers were using the neighborhood as a
pass-through although a few residents were caught. The top speed
was 51 mph on Crest Forest Road. For your information the speed
limit in the neighborhood is 25 mph. Future speed traps are
planned.
