Overview
The purpose of this site is
to help nonprofit organizations get their web pages on KORRnet.
Note: If you
are a representative of a nonprofit organization, and you are interested
in learning about KORRnet and how to get your website online, click here for information.
I am not a web expert; however, I have placed
several sites on the web, and I have learned a few things about where to find
answers to the questions I have along the way. My approach here is to take
you through the steps of putting together a simple site using free tools
that are available to anyone with an internet connection and some sort of
browser. You will find examples of two sites that I have put together to
serve as templates for anyone wanting to use them. I will show how I made
these templates and what kinds of options you have as you develop your site.
Using This
Site
A menu is located at the bottom
and top of each page on this site (with the exception of the templates).
Use it to get to major topic headings. I put an index menu within each topic
heading on the left side of each page. A link to my email is on every page.
Please use it to report problems with the site or for suggestions on ways
to make this site better.
This is what you will find
here:

Frequently Asked Questions and answers
about KORRnet
My main job at KORRnet was to help members of
the County Health Improvement Councils in Loudon, Morgan, Roane, and Sevier
counties get community web sites on the internet. I developed this site
as a resource for those people, and in turn, for anyone else responsible
for developing a web site on KORRnet.
My work in this area was made
possible by generous contributions from:
