Our purpose is to: 

• Serve as an advocate for the community for health related issues; particularly in the areas of improving access to care, enhancing health status and cost containment. 
• Assess the health status of the community and prioritize health problems. 
• Create an action plan with measurable goals and objectives that addresses identified health problems. 

The Community Health Council is composed of concerned local citizens and organizations working together to improve our overall quality of health.
