The left side of the window lists
the files on your computer, and the right side lists the files on KORRnet's
computer. It works very much like Windows Explorer. Double click a folder
to open it and view its contents.
Copying files either direction is easy.
Highlight
the file you want to copy, then click the arrow to send it.
In the example above, I highlighted a file called "about.html" to send
to my account at KORRnet. I clicked the arrow, pointing right, to send
it to KORRnet.
The Buttons
I use only a few of the buttons on this
program. Here is a brief description of the ones I use:

The arrow keys are used to transfer copies
of files from one computer to another. You can select a single file, a
folder, or any combination of files and folders. Highlight any file you
want to transfer by clicking it once. Then, click the arrow to send it.
Selecting Files and Folders
To select several files at once, hold down
the Shift key or the
Ctrl key before you click. The Shift
key will let you select a range of files between two files. For example,
I clicked "about.html," held down the Shift key, and then clicked "projects.html"
to select all the files between "about.html" and projects.html."

Similarly, I can pick and choose files to
send by holding down the Ctrl key while I click.

Notice that I selected a folder in this example.
This is a handy way of sending many files at once. I keep all of the images
on this website in one folder. When you send a folder to the KORRnet computer,
you'll get this dialog window:

Just click Yes to send the folder.
The Button Bars
I also use four of the buttons on the vertical
button bars.

MkDir
This means "Make Directory." This
means the same thing as "Create a New Folder."
Rename
Use this button to rename a file or a folder.
Delete
This one's easy to figure out . . . use
it to delete files. Note, however, that WS_FTP won't let you delete folders
that are not empty. First, open a folder you want to delete by double clicking
it. Highlight all the files in the folder and click Delete to remove
them. Double click the green arrow
to
go back to the original folder. Highlight the folder you want to remove
and click Delete again.
Refresh
I usually only use this one on the left
window. It is used to update the file list. That is, sometimes I create
a new file while the program is open. The new file won't show up on the
list until I click Refresh.
The Green Arrow

Double click the green arrow to move
up one level in the folder hierarchy. That is, if you have opened a folder
in the original file list that opened when you first logged in, double
click the green arrow to return to the original file list. It's just like
clicking the folder with the arrow symbol on it in Windows Explorer.
