a web page

I work with nonprofit organizations in Loudon, Morgan, Roane, and Sevier counties. Most of the people I talk with see a need to get their organization=s activities noticed so that they may serve their communities. Publishing a web page on the Internet allows an organization to inform their community about what they do, who they are, and whom they intend to serve. Once the page is in place, up to date information about the organization is available to anyone with access to a computer, in libraries, at home, and at work.

instant updates
Getting information out may be done other ways; however, unlike printed articles a web page may be changed at any time. An organization can update and change the information on the web at any time in only a few minutes. This changes the information in every library, home, or office instantly. It=s like being able to hand out company brochures to hundreds of people then making changes to all the brochures at once at any time.
free
KORRnet is a nonprofit organization. We offer Internet service free to other nonprofit organizations and individuals within local calling distance of Knoxville. Anyone may receive a free account with KORRnet that allows them to browse the Internet, send, and receive email. Additionally, nonprofit organizations may also use KORRnet to publish a web page on the Internet. KORRnet allows individuals and nonprofit organizations to interact and share information.
