INSTRUCTORS AND SAFETY BOATERS NEEDED:

The agreed consensus is that the more instructors that we can get, the better the quality of a school we can put on.  Good instruction for early paddlers is a major key to getting people to stay involved in this sport, so if you are an experienced paddle, and you want to give a little bit back to this sport, there is nothing better that you can do than to volunteer to be an instructor or safety boater for our school.  Even if you are interested but a bit apprehensive because you have never instructed before, just contact Mary Ann and she will be happy to talk with you about it.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

We will be offering students that do not have their own gear the option of renting it from the club for a cost of $20.  In addition to this fee, a $50 deposit is required which will be refunded on return of the gear.  We will be using the gear in the club’s fleet, but most likely, this will not be enough.  So if anyone is willing to loan out their extra gear, even if you cannot make it to the school, it would be much appreciated and everything will be promptly returned to you.

Hope to see you at this fun event!
