ADVANCED SAFETY CLINIC:  28 and 29 July, 2007

CHOTA will be sponsoring its annual Swift Water Rescue Clinic this July.  The class will be held on both the 28th and 29th; Saturday and Sunday.  This two day event will be held on the Ocoee and accepts both CHOTA members and non-members.  John Miller, an ACA Certified Swift Water Rescue Instructor, will be conducting this clinic for CHOTA.

It does not matter whether you are new to the Ocoee or have been attending the Swift Water Rescue clinic for years, each paddler will walk away from the class better equipped in self rescue or working as a team member in a rescue effort. (A raft will be available for those not comfortable running the Ocoee in a kayak/ inflatable or for those wanting to run the Ocoee in a raft).

If interested please contact David Howard. david.howard@charter.net
