Conservation

We in Chota enjoy the natural environment in which we practice our sport.  We feel strongly that nature should be protected today and for our children.  To this end we are active in preservation and restoration of natural areas and conservation of our natural resources.  We practice this as individuals by doing such things as volunteering for river cleanups and writing letters to government officials.  As an organization Chota actively supports many local, state, regional and national conservation organizations with donations and other resources.  Retaining only a small amount of revenue for club operations we donate all monies raised during a given year to these organizations.  We support and work closely with the following organizations:
