Admission Information

Students in grades 1-7 (ages 6-14) are admitted on a first come basis. The current enrollment limit is 25 students. Transportation is provided from schools in the CMY geographical area. This includes Chilhowee Intermediate, Spring Hill Elementary, Sarah Moore Greene, Green, Vine Middle, and Holston Middle. Students from other schools may be admitted but transportation may not be feasible. Occasionally, a few high school students may serve as mentors.

Priority is given to returning students. First graders are admitted on a trial basis. Special needs and special education applicants will be evaluated for admission on an individual basis. Registration is held the week before the opening of Knox County Schools. Information about CMY will be placed in the area schools and is also available at the center. CMY does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender or national origin.

Fee Information

Tuition is $120.00 per month per child. There is a one-time supply/registration fee of $60.00 per year per child. The tuition fee is a flat monthly rate. There are no adjustments or refunds based on the number of school days in a given month. The only exception to this is the month of August. Please contact CMY for the exact amount due at registration. Beginning with September, $120.00 per month per child will be due no later than the 10th of each month. This rate includes a snack, as well as transportation from area schools to CMY and to CMY offsite activities.
