Sunday Morning Bible Class
Join us Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the fellowship hall. Pastor Doug leads studies covering a variety of topics from books of the Bible to current Christian issues. Other classes meet periodically as interest arises. Come for coffee and stay for lively discussion.
Sunday School
“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them.” (Mark 10:14) These words speak to our desire to help the children grow in their relationship with Jesus. Every Sunday at 9:30am we have classes for young people from pre-school to high school. The approach to Scriptures is age appropriate and teaches in ways that are fun and informative.
Tuesday Evening Ladies Bible Study
Diane Weber leads this group in lessons that address the issues women face on a daily basis. They meet at church at 7:00pm every Tuesday.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study
For a mid-week spiritual boost, Pastor Doug offers a class on Wednesday mornings at 10:30. This class discusses a wide range of topics from the spirituality of angels to topical studies on current Christian issues.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study
This Biblically based study is lead by Pastor Doug and Diane Weber. A book of the Bible is examined closely and open discussion is not only encouraged but is an important part of the learning.
Confirmation Class
This is a chance for sixth, seventh and eighth graders to learn more about their faith in Christ. Rotating teachers Pastor Doug and Diane Weber, use inventive ways to reach the youth. After finishing this weekly class, eighth graders are welcomed as members who attend Lord’s Supper. Based on the laughter coming from that room, they have fun while learning and growing!
Youth Bible Studies
Young people and adults come together in Bible Studies and devotions. Topics that are relevant to the issues facing our youth are discussed. With Christ as the focus, relationships develop, faith is deepened, and fun erupts.
Adult Information
Have you ever wondered how people become members of CVLC? I’m glad you asked! Pastor Doug leads classes once a month (as needed) to introduce you to the Basics of the Bible, What is a Lutheran Anyway? and What’s So Special About CVLC? These three classes are taught on the second Sunday of the month from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
Preschool
We believe each child is unique and important to God. From 6 weeks to 5 years, your child will be nurtured in a Christian, caring, family atmosphere. We want to partner with parents to provide a loving, safe, structured and fun-filled environment in which your child can thrive. Your child will benefit from: Christ-centered learning, a secure & safe facility, hands-on curriculum, loving, Christian teachers, fun & educational activities and facilities open Monday through Friday from 6am to 6pm
