Here are the known on-line Voter Guides that have been prepared for the KnoxCounty elections of 2002. If you have a guide that should be listed here, contact election@korrnet.org. DemocracyNet Which issues will candidates address? How do their opinions compare with their opponents' views? DNet (opens new window) has the information without the strict space limitations of a printed Voter's Guide and without a deadline. Candidates can add to their statements at any time during the campaign or respond to statements made by their opponents. All the information comes directly from the candidates themselves. Operated by the League of Women Voters Education Fund, this site also allows anyone to suggest an issue to the candidates in a specific race. League of Women Voters of Knoxville/Knox County Is the state adequately funded? Should TDOT money be used for mass transit? What's the fairest way to increase state revenue? Answers from legislative candidates are on the League site (korrnet.org/lwv/legisvg.htm) and on Dnet. Candidates for Governor, Senator and US House seats are on Dnet.
