Cleveland State Community College is a comprehensive two-year public community college operating within the governance of the Tennessee Board of Regents and approved by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. Its mission focuses upon responsive delivery of the highest quality education and training at the lowest possible cost in support of workforce development, liberal arts transfer, and cultural enrichment for the people of Bradley, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe and Polk counties. The college enrolls over 3,200 students in a typical fall semester and in addition to the main campus in Cleveland, it also operates sites in Athens and Vonore, Tennessee.

Johnson Bible College is located on a 350 acre campus in south Knox County. A combination of course work and a variety of Christian service activities in the community creates an academic experience that educates and enriches the total person. All students major in Bible. Additional areas of study are preaching, counseling, youth ministry, children’s ministry, media communications, missions, senior adult ministry and teaching English as a second language. LAMP, an adult night degree completion program, is also available both on campus and at other locations.

Lincoln Memorial University, a living memorial to the nation's 16th President Abraham Lincoln, is dedicated to providing strong educational programs grounded in the liberal arts and professional studies. In addition to its main campus in Harrogate, LMU offers undergraduate and graduate programs at 10 extended campus sites. Selected undergraduate programs or courses are offered in Cumberland, KY, Morristown and Knoxville, TN; the nursing program is offered in Alcoa, Knoxville and Madisonville, TN, and in Corbin, KY; and graduate programs are offered in Maryville, Cleveland, Morristown, Ducktown and Knoxville, TN.

Pellissippi State Technical Community College provides associate’s degrees, certificate programs, and services for the people of Blount and Knox counties. The college’s 19 Associate of Applied Science degree options prepare students for careers in engineering, business, and computers. The Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree transfer programs prepare students to transfer into four-year baccalaureate degree programs for continuing study on subjects such as business, education, fine arts, and medicine.

Roane State Community College is a regionally accredited two-year college providing transfer curricula, career preparation programs, and non-credit education. Along with the main campus in Harriman and the Oak Ridge Branch Campus, classes are offered day and evening at higher education centers in Crossville, Huntsville, Jamestown, LaFollette,Lenoir City, as well as Knoxville (Knox County Center for Health Sciences). The College at Home program allows working adults to take classes at home by video or web.

Tennessee Wesleyan College is a small, private liberal arts college founded in Athens, Tennessee in 1857. TWC offers a bachelor’s degree program with twenty seven major fields of study. The Athens campus offers both traditional day and evening school programs. The branch campus located in Knoxville offers the working adult, with two or more years of college, the opportunity to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. The Knoxville campus offers upper division day classes for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Tusculum College founded in 1794, is the oldest college in the state of Tennessee. In 1984, in response to the growing needs of busy adult students entering college, Tusculum created the Graduate and Professional Studies program. This accelerated program allows adult, career-minded students to attend classes on a convenient schedule of their choice, typically from 6-10 p.m., once or twice weekly, one course at a time. Classes are available at two regional centers, Greeneville and Knoxville, and at the Morristown Center and the Tri-Cities Center. Through partnerships, Tusculum also offers classes at several off-site locations throughout the East Tennessee region. Daytime and Saturday classes are available at selected locations. Students may pursue both undergraduate and graduate degree completion programs.

The University of Tennessee - Knoxville The University of Tennessee main campus is the state's comprehensive institution for undergraduate, graduate and professional studies, research, creative activity and public service. The Adult Student Services Center is an on campus resource office providing advising, orientation, support services and advocacy for undergraduate adult and returning students. Distance Education and Independent Study offers select online graduate programs in Engineering, Business, Information Sciences and Agricultural and Extension Education. In addition, DEIS provides undergraduate courses and career enrichment certificates through a variety of delivery methods.

Walters State Community College is a regionally accredited comprehensive two-year college providing university parallel, technical education, and continuing education and community service programs. Day and evening classes are offered on the main campus in Morristown, at centers in Greeneville, Sevierville, and Tazewell; and in other communities throughout East Tennessee. Recent high school graduates, as well as working adults, find a caring campus climate with support services that are responsive to their individual needs.
