The Spring 2009 AIS Region 7 meeting will be hosted by East Tennessee Iris Society in Knoxville, TN on May 2-3

A show will be held at the Knoxville Center Mall in conjunction with the meeting. Enter your flowers by 11:00 am and the show will be open to the public from 1 pm to 4 pm.

The registration fee is $25 and includes the Saturday night banquet and Sunday box lunch. The motel provides a free breakfast. Make checks payable to East Tennessee Iris Society and mail them before 4/20/09 to:

Make your room reservations for the night of May 1 and May 2 by calling the Days Inn Knoxville North (I75 exit 108) at 865-687-5800, mentioning the "Region 7 Iris Meeting" to get the special rate of $82.95 for a double or a king. We have reserved 10 doubles and 10 kings, so make your reservations as soon as possible.

Tentative Schedule (all times Eastern Daylight Time):

Saturday, May 2
• Iris Show at Knoxville Center Mall, off I-640
• 11 am - Deadline for Iris Entries
• 5 pm - Board Meeting at Days Inn
• 6:15 pm - Banquet at Ramsey's (next to Days Inn)
• Meeting until 8:45pm

Sunday, May 3
• 9am - Judges training by Earnie Royal to be held at the Couturier's Gardens
• Box Lunch
