| 4H Horse Bowl and Hippology (HBH)Competition is held each year at the UTK Vet School. Teams from all over East Tennessee meet against other teams of the same 4H level. The 4Hers answer questions individually on paper in the first round of the competition. This is the Hippology part of the competition. After this the teams compete against another team of players in a "college bowl" kind of questioning. The students push a buzzer when they think they know the answer. The first one to buzz in gets to answer the question. If the answer is incorrect, the other team gets to attempt to answer correctly. At the end of the competition, all scores are added up (individual and team)and winners are determined. Our 4H has competed in the Horse Bowl and Hippology for many years. | The 4H show for 2011 was super. We had participants from ETRC, Anderson County, Knox County, Sevier County, and many other East Tennessee Counties. We even had an entry from Virginia. While the weather was overcast and a light shower or two rained down on the show, it did not stop the show. See the pictures of the show by clicking on the picture. |

| Each year both a regional show and a state show are held for 4H members. 4Hers go to the regional show and then may go onto the state show held in Shelbyville. |
