innovative uses of technology.

have come to the right place. On this web you will find a wide range of
information and resources to help you or your loved one in your quest for
self-sufficiency. There is also information for teachers, therapists, and general
service providers.

What is Assistive Technology?
Assistive technology is any piece of equipment, whether purchased or made at home, that is used to increase, maintain, or improve a person's functional capabilities. (Assistive Technology Act, 1998)Assistive technology can be:
- Grooming aids
- Dressing aids
- Cooking aids
- Eating aids
- Visual aids
- Assistive listening aids
- Alternative communication devices
- Leisure and recreation aids
- Home modifications
- Adapted computers and software
