Music Ministry
In the Baptist tradition, all of God’s people are ministers. Our vocational pastors are called to equip the people of God in Christian service. Each pastor has entered the vocational ministry by the calling of God and has been ordained to the Gospel ministry. Although each pastor has an area of focus and special training, all of our pastors minister to the whole congregation.

Our Music Ministry is an active, vital, and integral part of our total church mission.  Music is not an end in itself but a means to glorify God in worship and to proclaim the good news about Jesus Christ.  Music is the language of emotion, the language of our spiritual selves whether we sing, play, or  listen.  Our music ministry strives to include all people regardless
of natural ability.

Children’s Choirs:  M&Ms (Music and Missions)

The M&Ms Children’s Choirs, age graded for children 4 years through grade five, provide learning activities that teach the children about music and about God through music. Our experienced leaders are dedicated to the idea of planning and maintaining a program of songs, games, and interaction among the children.  The hour is divided between music education and missions education.  Our children play desk bells and handbells quarterly in worship and experience missions through operation Christmas Child and Passport Kids Mission Camp in the summer.

Chancel Bells

Our three octaves of Schulmerich handbells give the Chancel Bells an excellent instrument for their ringing skills. With a wide range of experience levels, this is a fun and intriguing group We primarily ring in worship and at festivals.

 Senior Adult Ministry

The Keenagers (senior adult fellowship) meet the first Monday of each month. They conduct business, enjoy a program, and often
share a potluck lunch as a part of their monthly routine. Members of the Keenagers are also heavily involved in many other areas of
our church’s ministry, including the Agape Center, mission groups, Sunday school, and deacons.
