Winter Futsal 2010
Fusion FC would like to invite all youth soccer players to participate in the 2010 Winter Futsal League. The league is designed to meet certain developmental goals:
- Sublime foot skills and confidence on the ball
- The ability to problem solve within the game without the influence of a coach/parent.
It is a player’s league and therefore an environment conducive to optimize player enjoyment and development is our goal. Coaches and parents are encouraged to participate in the league as fans of the game.
Teams:
- U8 play 3 v 3 (no keepers); Maximum roster 5
- U10 play 4 v 4 (no keepers); Maximum roster 7
- U12 4 v 4 (no keepers); Maximum roster 7
- U14, High School & Open will play 5 v 5 (including GKs) Maximum roster 8
- Players may form their own teams and enter as a team or simply register as a player and you will be assigned to a team. Please note the league reserves the right to add players to teams that do not have full rosters. (Players may play up a division upon approval from the Director)
- No Adult coaches
- League staff will assist the U8 and U10 divisions with game instruction and substitutions
- U12 and older will run themselves
Format:
- Two leagues will run simultaneously; Northern Hemisphere (to play in Abingdon & Bristol) and Southern Hemisphere (to play in Gray & Johnson City)
- Every effort will be made to make a division in each age bracket. The league reserves the right to adjust the brackets as necessary.
