FUTSAL RULES 

• #5 Ball

• Futsal ball, similar to a #4, but heavier w/ 30% less bounce

• 11 Players 

• 4 Players  U10 and below; 3 Players U11 and older (subject to change upon agreement of both teams)

• 3 Substitutions

• Unlimited “Flying” Sub

• Throw-in

• Kick-in 

• Running clock 

• Running clock 

• 45 minutes halves

• 20 minute halves 

• Goal Kick

• Goal Clearance (kick-in) 

• Some contact

• No shoulder charges or sliding tackles 

• 4 Second rule on restarts 

• Offside Rule

• No Offside Rule 

• Goalkeeper

• No Goalkeeper 

• Unlimited fouling

• 5 Foul Limit-After 5, One player sent off for one minute

• No sub for player sent off

• Player sent off can be substituted for after 1 minute or after opposing team has scored

• Corner kick placed in arch

• Corner kick placed on corner

• Players cannot be inside of “crease” when ball is shot.

• Goal Kicks-all players must be outside the 18-yard box

• Goal Kicks-All players must be behind half line
