Louis Thorpe - a native of The Gambia, West Africa, came to the Bristol area to further his education at King college where he played soccer for the Tornadoes from 1988 to 1992, Thorpe was a two time all America, four years all district and all conference, he was also captain for three years.
After graduation he went to Washington D.C and worked as an assistant at the payroll department with Clark Construction until August 1999. He came back to the area and assisted both the Men and women program at King. Thorpe is a licensed coach and holds membership with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and Tennessee Soccer Coaches Association. He has been coaching at all levels for the past 30 years. He later left King and became an assistant at Tusculum College where he help the program win some championships. He is back at King college as the Men's assistant and the head coach for your U-10 and U-9 Impact NE team.
