The Friends of the UT Gardens is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to advocate, promote, and raise funds for the University of Tennessee Gardens. One of the community's finest treasures, the Gardens feature more than 1000 woody plants under long-term observation and 2000 varieties of herbaceous plants evaluated annually. Open daylight hours year-round, they now host over 50,000 visitors. The gardens are free and open to the public.
