When you join the Friends, we thank you for your generosity in providing critical financial support for public horticulture students at the University of Tennessee and the public garden that is the University Gardens. Higher levels of memberships and donations ($250+) make all the difference to our future and are also recognized on donor recognition boards in the newly renovated Entrance Plaza of the Gardens.
We offer benefits to members that include:
- The Garden Post in 7 issues throughout the year
- The “Best of the Best” Annual Trials Report and local availability listings
- Advance notification of programs, workshops, sales, exhibits and special events
Members are also invited to participate in:
- Events and sales planning, preparation and setup
- Annual meeting and other lectures
- Members-only listserv, discount programs and admissions.
- Special projects
There are also many volunteer and leadership opportunities available. Please let us know about your areas of interest and we will work to match you with a project or committee.
