Recent and Ongoing Activities

The Greenback Public Library has concluded a successful 2004 Summer Reading Program thanks to our many volunteers and sponsors.

Our library Friends Group has been very active this year. They have purchased an award-winning children's book collection for the library and are sponsoring extra staff for the continuation of the library automation program. They also continue to support outreach reading programs at Lanier Grade School and Greenback kindergarten.Their current fund raising projects include a spring garage sale and library book bags.
