Eric Baumgardner, Band Director

Mr. Baumgardner is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he obtained a B.S. degree in Music Education. He also holds a M. Ed. in Supervision and Administration from Lincoln Memorial University. He is a former member of the University of Tennessee 'Pride of the Southland' Marching Band during the tenure of Dr. W J Julian. While in college Mr. Baumgardner also performed with a variety of other ensembles including the UT Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Civic Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, Marimba Choir, Steel Drum Band, and Studio Orchestra. Mr. Baumgardner has also performed with the Knoxville Symphony in the percussion section. He has studied with Michael Combs, Keith Brown, Robert Adamcik, Andrew Adzima and Tim Paul. After graduating, Mr. Baumgardner served as the Assistant Director of Bands at South-Doyle Middle and High Schools for nine years. During those years, he developed an award-winning percussion program, which recently performed with Shania Twain. He also organized the SDMS Jazz Band. Mr. Baumgardner's professional affiliations include: MENC, TMEA, PAS and ETSB&OA. He is happily married to his wife, Donna Joseph Baumgardner.

Tiffany Kimbro Lead Director - MS, Assistant Director - HS

In her role as Director of the Halls Middle School Band, Mrs. Kimbro plays an essential role in the ongoing development of the HHS Band program. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where earned both a Bachelor of Science in music education and Masters degree.
