Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band meets each day for 90 minutes during the Spring Semester. This course is designed for the accomplished high school musician. The music performed by the members of this ensemble is advanced and requires a significant amount of dedication from each individual student. This ensemble performs five times each semester including the East Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Director’s Association Concert Festival. A wide range of musical idioms are explored through the music this class performs. Individual practice, after-school practice and group rehearsals are required. Students are expected to audition for regional and district honor bands.
