The Halloween party was a great success. Over 40 children and their parents were there. As the night fell, the fun began. We took lots of pictures of the children in costumes and the decorations.

I think there were 600 candy corn kernels in the jar. When I find out the result, I will let all know and post it here. (Five day go by...) OK! Got the answer...356 -- I was wrong!

My favorite costume was the Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy kids. Next is the "bolt in the forehead" makeup.

All the digital pictures shown here were taken without flash as that does not work on my new camera. A roll of flash pictures of more costumes and characters is forthcoming. See below.

The decorations in the Paul's yard were outstanding with ghouls, goblins, headstones with skeletons climbing out and frightening things in the bushes. The skeleton hanging from the gallows set the tone for it all.

Thanks to the Paul's for and to the Hickory Woods neighbors who put on this fun event. It was good work.
