 Luanne Hurst who suggested this plant walk, died one month later. She was suffering from cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy. We will all miss her, but we will all remember her every year as we name this walk after her. The plant walk is to be henceforth called "Luanne's Plant Walk" and is "Sponsored by Hickory Woods in her honor." |
A "plant walk" is planned for October 15, 2002 after 5:00 PM. Rain or Shine!

Several Hickory Woods residents are getting ready to divide their plants and would be glad to share with you ... for FREE... What a bargain!
As you are taking your evening stroll, stop by the houses that have plants near their driveway. Plastic bags will be provided or you can bring your own. Some plants will be in pots and some with roots showing and wrapped in appropriate materials. Take what you want!
Let us know if you have plants to share and we will provide a balloon for your display.
