The Christmas party for the Hickory Woods neighborhood was held by Ann Durall and the HWHA officers at Ann's nice home on Valley Trail. Here are some pictures of the people who came and the events. Everyone had a good time meeting and talking. We were especially glad to see Gregg Maples out and about. He is undergoing treatment for bone cancer.
The entertainment crew did a great job of providing a buffet spread and a great cake. I think we ate only the top tier of this two-tier (4 layers each of rich chocolate) cake.
Everyone that brought an ornament for the Ornament Exchange sat in a circle and passed the gifts either right or left as Leon Paul read a cute story filled with "Right" and "Left" words. Leon read the story as fast as he could! It was fun to watch as the gifts flew back and forth as every tried to pass to the right or to the left to keep up with the story.
We need to thank Gloria Paul and Melissa Mustard and Ann Durall for all the work in getting all the planning and arrangements done. You girls did a great job. John Andrews took the pictures and made this web page. So thanks to him too!
