DiscoverET.org links primarily to web-based resources of organizations with a physical presence in the 16-county region surrounding Knoxville, Tennessee.   These 16 counties are:

  • Hamblen
  • Jefferson**
  • Knox**
  • Loudon**
  • Monroe
  • Morgan
  • Roane**
  • Scott
  • Sevier**
  • Union**

Together these counties make up the East Tennessee region.   They are the same counties included in the East Tennessee Development District.

The counties marked with asterisks (**) make up the region targeted by the Nine Counties One Vision planning process.
