Here's to an evening of fun and festivities as Knoxville Opera's 30th Anniversary celebration opens with a rousing toast to Oktoberfest, featuring highlights from Simund Romberg's romantic operetta, The Student Prince. Journey back to Old Heidelberg where the ivy-covered University halls reverberate with the glorious sound of male voices singing in praise of wine, women and song! Raise your glass and toast such timeless classics as "Deep in My Heart," "Golden Days," "Gaudeamus Igitur," the beautiful "Serenade," and of the course the students' famous "Drinking Song."
