Holy Ghost Hour of Blessing
Holy Ghost Parish celebrated an Hour of Blessing on August 8th, as Bishop Kurtz, Fr. Mankel, and Fr. O'Neill presided over the Annointing of the Sick, Blessing of the new Confessionals, Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, and Dedication of the new Handicap Entrance (see "Holy Ghost Clean-up" below). The 4th Degree Color Corp of Assembly 1083 was present in full regalia, with new Color Corp Commander Paul Rodarte, PGK in a prominent role.

Holy Ghost Cleanup
Members of Council 645 spent their Saturday cleaning the Council supplies and old Church supplies from the storage room at Holy Ghost. This room will be the new Handicap entrance to the Church. The Council's supplies have been moved to the old Convent across from the Holy Ghost rectory. There was a lot of work cleaning up and organizing the old Convent as well. Thanks to Pig, John Sholly, Dale & his son, Jeff Emitt, John Swindeman, Greg McGinnis, and David Cavalari for putting in a long day of hard work! Following are pictures of the event.

material from the Holy Ghost storage room. This room was completely filled with old materials,
including Hymnals dating back to the 50's. Now that the room
is empty, it is ready to be converted into a handicap
accessible entry into the Church. Treasurer Jeff Emitt, Guard Greg McGinnis, and David

to continue the clean-up.

Lenten Supper, Immaculate Conception 2004
Members of Council 645 often assist at the Lenten suppers at Immaculate Conception. While this has been a fish-fry in the past, in recent years it has been a smaller soup & sandwich meal just before Stations of the Cross.
