2004 Jack McCusker Family: Jack, our council's Chancellor,
recently made his Fourth Degree along with his son, Michael.
Michael, a former member of our council, is being considered
for a US Attorney position in Memphis. Jack and his wife
helped me to set up for and cleanup after the Thanksgiving
social that our council held in November. In addition, Jack
has led the Pancake breakfast team at IC during Doc and Wes'
absence. We appreciate Jack stepping up to the plate during
a time that the council needed him! October
2004 Bob & Margaret Hunt and Kids: Bob works at Children's
Hospital, teaches Sunday School for adults at St. Joseph
School, and recently finished teaching an 8 week class on
the Old Testament. In his spare time he helps raise and
home-school his two children, Bernadette and Genevieve, with
his wife Margaret. They are expecting their third child,
Felicity Grace, on January 11, 2005. Bob successfully
planned our council's Rosary for Life in October, and he and
Margaret worked diligently at the Fourth Degree Dinner that
we hosted in October. Keep up the good work! September
2004 Dale & Kim Neighbor and Kids: Dale is a relatively
new member of the Knights, and recently made his second
degree. He, his wife Kim, and their two children Rebecca and
Andrew, were instrumental in helping set up for, and clean
up after the Labor Day Social. In addition, Dale played the
trumpet music for the Blue Mass, held on September 29, 2004.
Kim teaches at St. Joseph School, and directs the IC
Children's Choir, which can be heard at the upcoming Feast
of the Immaculate Conception Mass. August
2004 The Corteses graciously opened up their home for all of
us to have a wonderful social in August. We had
approximately forty people attend the party/picnic,
including our District Deputy, Jim Bruun, and our State
Secretary and his wife, Bill and Janet Wicke. Jim, Carole,
and their children provided a great time for us, prepared
the food, let the kids play on their boat, and even let some
of us use the waverunner. Jim is also a Webelos den leader
at Saint Joseph School and active in his church and
community. Thanks to all of you for your continued support
and participation in the Knights. July
2004 As has been the case since I have been a member of our
Council, Doc Davidson and his family have been the backbone
of support for most lay activities at Immaculate Conception,
including pancake breakfasts, ushering during Mass,
supporting Saint Joseph School, and many other unsung
projects. Doc was my sponsor when I joined the Knights in
1995. Even before then, Doc and his family were always a
welcoming presence at IC, which my wife and I have attended
since we moved to Knoxville in 1990. Thanks, Doc, Elvyn II,
Evelyn, and everybody else, for your Christian
Catholicism. June

2004 Family of the month is Brother Bob Hunt from Immaculate
Conception. Bob and his family are extremely busy in and
around IC Church with many activities including Bob being
the cross bearer during lent. Good Job!! December
2003 New Brother Paul Jones and his wife
Connie are our Family of the Month. Paul and Connie have
been helping at the pancake breakfasts at Immaculate
Conception church, where they are parishioners. Paul also
sings in the Sweet Spirit Choir at IC. Paul and Connie
single-handedly sold the Christmas Cards at Immaculate
Conception and did a wonderful job! Welcome to the Council
and thanks for your hard work! November
2003 Worthy Brother Jim & Kathy Cloud
have made a comeback to the Council and the activities. They
had helped out with the Ice Cream Social, Pancake
Breakfasts, sold Christmas Cards, helped set-up at different
functions. They have rescheduled their regular rabbit
feeding times to give of their time. Thank you Brother Jim
& Kathy for your hard work & dedication. October
2003 S.K. Elvyn Davidson, II always helps
out at the IC pancake Breakfasts,
along with his family and Brother Davidson also serves as an
usher at the 11:30 Mass every week. He and his family are
members of Immaculate
Conception Church.
Congratulations! Wes Sheedy and his wife Audrey. Wes

Congratulations! Paul Vadeboncoeur and his wife
Genevieve. Paul and Gen take care of the newsletter each
month, and Paul serves as Trustee for the Council. They have
two sons and five daughters. Paul and Gen are members of

XXIII parish.
Congratulations! Donald King and his wife Fran. Don and
Fran have helped with the Immaculate Conception
Breakfast
and many Socials. They have two sons and one daughter and a
new grandchild. Both are members of Immaculate
Conception Church.
Congratulations! John Swindeman, his wife Jessica and
daughter Elena. He is our newest appointed Financial
Secretary and doing a great job. John and family are members
ofImmaculate
Conception Church.
Congratulations to all of you! SK Clarence Pat O'Brien and his wife
Grace. Pat and his family have been very active in Council
#645 and never hesitated to help where they are needed for
many years. Both are members of Holy
Ghost Church.
Congratulations! Steve Metz and family, Sharon, Stan,
Sandra and Sean. They are a very dedicated family and our
host for the December Christmas Social. (I know that Stuart
is watching over the family). They are members of
Holy
Ghost Church. Congratulations
goes out to the Metz Family! Paul Dunn III and his family. His
parents, Paul and Mary Dunn and eight brothers and sisters.
He has four sisters and four brothers. Paul and his family
are very active in Tennessee Right to Life and are usually
working whenever they are needed. He is a member of
Holy
Ghost Church.
Congratulations! S.K., Past DD, PGK, Elvyn V. (Doc)
Davidson, and his family. Doc helps out at the Sunday
Breakfast
at I.C. and does everything from cooking to Good of the
Order. There is not a job that he can't handle. Doc's son,
Elvyn Jr., just recently went through the Fourth
Degree Exemplification last
month. They attend Immaculate
Conception Church.

and is very helpful when needed. Congratulations! David Dunn. David did a great job as
the past Treasurer,
worked on the State Convention and now serving as our
Chancellor.
