Website pageviews for October 2005
were 6,668. This is a new record and should be attributed to
interest in the Orchids & Onions and the ads in the News Sentinel
and Metro Pulse for our position opening. Pageviews last October
were 2,863.
Beautification
-
The Orchids & Onions Awards took
place and appeared to be a big success. This was the first time the
event was held in the evening and the individual ticket price was
raised to $35. Major sponsors were also given a different role – to
actually present the awards during the program. That seemed to go
very well. Mostly positive feedback.
-
KKB staff had a meeting with Bob
Santore of the South Knox Beautification Committee. Bob provided
KKB with his plans to spend up to $8,600 by spring 2006.
