KKB held the Kickoff Event for the Great American Cleanup at the Redeemer Church of Knoxville. Chris Talley from the Church and his volunteers helped to make this an extremely successful event. We had participation from UT, as well as concerned citizens and a few homeless individuals who pitched in. We had over 100 volunteers who collected around 104 bags of trash and 45 bags of recycling.

In addition, we had a group of volunteers who painted over a wall that had been covered in graffiti.
