 The Orchids & Onions Awards have been presented to
Knoxville and Knox County's most beautiful commercial properties since
1979.
Nominations are submitted by the public and a nominating
committee. Click
here to make a nomination or to read award rules and categories.
Properties may be nominated in one of several
categories. A property can win only once except in cases of major
renovations (see
list of past winners). Private residences are NOT
considered for this award. A panel of independent judges selects
the winners. Past judge panels have included architects,
commercial builders, realtors, landscape architects, historic
preservationists, community leaders and owners of properties that have
won in the past. Winners are announced at the annual Orchids
& Onions Awards Luncheon.
Important Information
Award Sponsorship (10 available is $1,000) deadline: September 7th, 2007
Deadline for nominations: September 7th, 2007
Deadline to sponsor a table: September 28th, 2007
Deadline to reserve a seat or table: October 5th, 2007
Full table sponsorship is $500 (10 seats), half table is $250 (5 seats)
Individual seats $35 per person
Awards Banquet: Thursday, October 11th, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., The Foundry
