Orchids & Onions
Nomination Form
2008 Orchids & Onions
Nomination Form
-
The Orchid
Award is given for good overall design, sensitivity to surroundings, and high
standards of maintenance.
-
The Onion Award is given
to a property that is in poor condition, could be considered an eyesore
and has a significant negative impact on the surrounding properties in a
commercial neighborhood. Important: We are looking for
properties that could be turned around with a modest investment of
money, material and time. Larger scale eyesores and significant
blighted areas may be submitted but will likely be referred to City and
County Codes officials for follow up and may not actually be selected to
win the Onion Award.
