Directions to KGMS meeting

The Knoxville Gem and Mineral Society (KGMS) is now meeting monthly at Pellissipi State University on the Third Thursday of the month at 7:30pm. Review the directions below which explain how to find the meeting location.

Directions:

  • Take Pellissippi Parkway from Knoxville or Oak Ridge.
  • Exit at Hardin Valley Road.
  • Turn left (west) at the end of the ramp onto Hardin Valley Road.
  • Go about 0.2 miles, and turn right at the first (easternmost) entrance to PSTCC.
  • Turn left at the first road, and follow it to Parking Area 01 (on the right past the lake).
  • Park in Parking Area 01.
  • Walk across the road to the back (northwestern) side of the J.L Goins Administration Building.
  • Walk past the Security office and through the loading zone (between two loading docks).
  • Enter the Cafeteria Annex room at the blue picnic tables (on the left)

New Meeting Location

The meeting location for monthly meetings has recently changed since the old location is undergoing renovations. The new meeting location for KGMS will be at Pellissipi State University until further notice. Directions and map to new KGSM meeting location.
