For People Who Love Earth Stuff

This year the show theme is "TURQUOISE"

Still trying to figure out that odd stone or bone or whatever that you picked up on the picnic last summer? Bring it to Identification DaySM (I.D. DaySM) and ask the experts! Earth scientists will examine your mysterious treasures and give you their best expert opinions. If stumped, the object will be photographed for future investigation. I.D. Day was first offered in East Tennessee at the American Museum of Science & Energy, and has become a popular educational aspect of the Annual KGMS Show. In addition to identifying unknown found objects, the experts also will be happy to attempt to answer questions from rockhounds of all ages.

The KGMS Show will feature dealers (see list below) from around the country, who will be bringing minerals, gems, and fossils from around the planet. Some dealers also will offer cutting rough, jewelry, equipment, tools, and books for sale. There will also be educational displays, demonstrations, and hourly door prizes.

Admission for the show is $3 for adults for one day and $5 for a three-day pass. Children under twelve are admitted free throughout the show.

Bring a printout of this page to the show and receive a $1.00 discount on the show admission for each person in your party!

Parking is Free!
