Witness through Education and Fellowship

1. KICCUP annually sponsors the Hunger Hike to be held October 1, 2006

The hike is held at Lakeshore Park and consists of a 2½-mile walk.  Registration for the hike begins at 1:15 p.m., and the hike starts at 2:00 p.m.  All proceeds raised by the hikers are given to the pantry or feeding ministry of their choice.   Following the hike there are refreshments and prizes.  Families and youth groups find this hike to be a great way to help take care of the hungry in our community.

2.  Seminars and Inner-City Ministries

KICCUP through its board meetings offers opportunities for education about organizations and services in the inner city.  The offerings from the Worship Services and Choir Festival are shared with inner-city ministries, and their work is highlighted.
