Spanish Classes

After-school Spanish lessons are taught twice a week to small groups of 6-8 students by Ms. Nuria Hernández. Singing, games, crafts, and stories are combined with vocabulary-work to make learning Spanish fun.

"Apprender" means "to learn," and that is our commitment. We want our students to acquire Spanish as their second language because we understand the benefits of becoming bilingual.

Classes

Classes will consist of Spanish greetings, vocabulary, games with pictures, songs, story-telling, and crafts. Each session will be a half-hour of creative learning and fun.

Classes cover basic concepts like:

• Colors
• Animals
• Foods
• Numbers
• Greetings

and many more that will become regular vocabulary over the course of the year.

Elementary students will engage in more extensive reading and conversation, building on this foundation.

Fees

The creative teaching program is divided into blocks of classes. Each block is four weeks long, with two 30-minute classes each week. The cost per block is only $60.

For your convenience, the $60 cost per block will be payable at the beginning of each month. Please make your check payable to Ms. Nuria ~ Español ~.
