Voting is one of the most essential rights of U. S. citizenship. It is the easiest and most profound way to make your voice heard. But remember, you must have been registered at least 30 days prior to an Election in order to vote!

You can easily register to vote by obtaining a registration form from the Knox County Election Commission (215-2480), Old County Courthouse, 300 Main Avenue #218, 37902. The forms are simple to complete and may be returned through U. S. Mail.

Forms are also available at libraries, post offices and driver license offices.

In addition, the League of Women Voters hosts many Voter Registration events in various locations throughout the county during the year.
